Travel Clinic

Before your next trip abroad, schedule a travel clinic visit at Fairfax Family Practice. Our experienced, travel clinic physicians not only work with you to determine which vaccinations are appropriate, but also provide in-depth travel counseling. As family physicians, we consider your existing medical problems, medications, prior vaccination records, and preferences when tailoring our recommendations.

Who we treat:

Whether it’s for a client meeting, a State Department assignment, a mission trip, or your family vacation, we cater to all travelers. Discounts are available for group visits. For large enough groups, we also offer onsite, group visits.

We treat your entire family (including adults and children). Patients from other practices and new patients are also welcome.

How we are different:

As your medical home, we are best equipped to tailor vaccine recommendations and counseling to YOU.

Travel clinical physicians:

Drs. Andrew Bazemore, Victoria Merkel, and Winston Liaw work alongside Fairfax Family Practice resident family physicians to deliver evidence-based recommendations. Drs. Bazemore, Merkel, and Liaw are all active in global and community health and have obtained Masters in Public Health.
